China Exchanges Services Company Limited (CESC) is a ground-breaking joint venture of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX), Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) and Shenzhen Stock Exchange (SZSE). CESC aims to contribute to the healthy development of China’s capital markets, the establishment of a whole ecosystem of financial products and services for China and the global markets, and the deepening of the three exchanges’ links with global investors. Its benchmarks allow financial products to track the performance of and seek exposure to Mainland assets traded on the two markets.
CESC calculates various indices including the CES A80 tracking mainland blue-chips; the CES HKMI which tracks Hong Kong stocks; and cross-border indices such as the CES 120, which measures the overall performance of Hong Kong, Shanghai and Shenzhen stock markets.
