The FTSE Italia Index Series is designed to represent the performance of Italian shares listed on the MTA and Mercato Expandi markets of Borsa Italiana, providing investors with a comprehensive and complementary set of indices with which to measure the performance of the Italian equity market. The first FTSE index dedicated to SMEs is now listed on AIM Italia. The launch of the index confirms the growing investor interest in SMEs and reflects the next stage in the development of the market. The index currently 24 companies currently listed on the market in 2013.
