The FTSE Andean 40 Index provides investors with a comprehensive and transparent means of measuring the performance of the most liquid companies listed on the Chilean, Colombian and Peruvian stock exchanges. The universe of eligible constituents comprises of companies listed on Chile, Colombia and Peru stock exchanges.
The index is capped to ensure that the index remains in US RIC compliance and that no single country exceeds 50 percent of the overall index, stocks are free-float weighted to ensure that only the investable opportunity set is included within the index, and the stocks are screened to ensure that the index is tradeable.
