On this basis, MSCI has put forth various companies (all US-listed) to be added to MSCI China, including well-known China based companies such as Alibaba and Baidu. At least three major companies were added to MSCI Hong Kong, including Jardine Matheson (Singapore-listed), Hong Kong Land (Singapore-listed), and Melco Crown (US-listed).
