RIMES Appoints Brendan Beith to Head of Sales World ex Americas

RIMES, the leading provider of managed data services for investment managers and asset owners, announced today the hiring of Brendan Beith as Head of Sales World ex Americas.

Having spent the previous 21 years with Interactive Data, Beith brings extensive experience to RIMES. Over that span, he managed a variety of businesses and sales teams, including Interactive Data’s former index services unit which provided index and constituent services to support performance measurement and attribution analysis. Beith served most recently as Managing Director of pricing and reference data for EMEA where he was responsible for all sales and account and product management.

“With extensive experience in financial market data, strong knowledge of the data issues facing investment managers and a great reputation across the industry, we are delighted to welcome Brendan to the RIMES team,” explains Christian Fauvelais, RIMES’ CEO. “Considering Brendan’s impressive track record, we look forward to him furthering RIMES’ success in EMEA and APAC as the preferred managed data services provider to the buy-side.”

According to Beith, “As data volumes increase and data becomes harder to govern, investment managers and their clients, the asset owners, continue to seek additional knowledge and information in data. With fully managed solutions such as the RIMES Benchmark Data Service®, RIMES Reference Data Service and RIMES Data Governance Service, RIMES is well-positioned to empower firms to reduce operational risk and control the total cost of ownership (TCO). I have known RIMES since 1997 and have always admired their focus on solving the real issues facing the buy-side. I look forward to working closely with RIMES’ clients to help them maintain control of their data and increase their agility in responding to regularly changing market conditions.”
