RIMES, the leading provider of managed data services and regtech solutions for the buyside, has won the ‘Best Middle-Office Initiative’ category at the American Financial Technology Awards (AFTAs). Hosted by Waters magazine and WatersTechnology.com, the AFTAs recognize excellence in the deployment and management of technology within financial services.
The ‘Best Middle-Office Initiative’ award is given to service providers that have innovated in functions such as risk and performance management, attribution reporting and compliance. The award was presented to RIMES in recognition for its work helping to optimize performance and risk operations and improve data quality for Fort Washington Investment Advisors, the primary investment arm of Western & Southern Financial Group, a Fortune 500 company.
Alessandro Ferrari, EVP Global Marketing at RIMES, commented: “RIMES prides itself on being one of the most innovative service providers in the financial sector. We’ve put in place a culture of continuous innovation and are always looking at how we can improve things for our customers, and add value to their businesses. That is exactly what we sought to do when working with Fort Washington, and this award stands testament to our success in doing so.”
Tom Anderson, Director of Performance and Reconciliation at Fort Washington Investment Advisors, commented: “RIMES’ approach is unique in that they listen to us and channel our feedback into their innovation cycle. The result is a service that meets our needs, and has enabled us to more easily expand into new asset classes and enhance our performance and risk functions. We look forward to continuing our work together.”
This latest award caps what has been a highly successful year for RIMES.
