The Spaulding Group, Inc. (TSG), the leading provider of investment performance measurement products and services, announced today that they; in association with RIMES Technologies, will host the first annual European Performance Measurement, Attribution and Risk (PMAR) conference in London on 8-9 June 2010. Over sixteen international performance, risk and attribution experts have already committed to present. The Spaulding Group’s PMAR conference in the United States has been the most widely attended performance event for the past seven years.
“Having had the opportunity to participate in The Spaulding Group’s PMAR conferences in the States, I am especially pleased that they will bring the conference to Europe. PMAR Europe is an opportunity for all performance, risk, client reporting and attribution professionals to participate in an excellent educational and networking event, led by one of our industry’s greatest thought leaders, The Spaulding Group” said Dr. Stefan Illmer, Head of Client Reporting for Credit Suisse. The Spaulding Group’s focus is investment performance measurement and as such we are exposed to the best speakers, ideas and topics that are relevant to our industry. PMAR is unique in that it brings new ideas and ways to present information, including the ever-popular “Battle Royale,” which involves a debate between industry experts, and the “Fast Performance” segment’s rapid fire exchange of ideas and information.
Gary Hildrup, CEO, of Fortis (UK) Investment Management commented, “I was happy to learn that The Spaulding Group will take their popular PMAR conference and bring it to London. Having been exposed to the talented team at The Spaulding Group through the Performance Measurement Forum, I have been keenly aware of the diligence and industry insights that they bring in selecting topics and speakers for their events. Their programs are topical, interactive, engaging and most importantly fun. I recommend PMAR to every performance measurement, attribution and risk specialist in the UK and abroad.”
Christian Fauvelais, CEO, RIMES Technologies commented: “We have been attending the Spaulding Group’s US events on a regular basis, and are delighted to be supporting their first European endeavor”.
