Carol Penhale leads the development of the Canadian market for Rimes, partnering with C-level leaders at asset managers, asset owners and asset servicers to help solve their most complex investment data management challenges. 

Carol has worked in the strategy and transformation space for public and private financial services firms and vendors for more than 25 years.  She has held senior business, technology and consulting roles at start ups, service providers, intermediaries and large financial institutions, at companies including Mackenzie Investments, Taliance, Broadridge Financial Solutions and others.  She has also helped found a number of boutique consulting start-ups, including Cutter Associates and Bedford Park Associates. 

Ms. Penhale holds a Diploma in Programming and Systems Analysis from The Institute for Computer Studies, a B.A. from the University of Toronto and a Certificate in History from the University of Edinburgh.  

Patrick serves as the Head of Foundational Data at Rimes, overseeing efforts to ensure vendor source data is ready for use and supports the company’s various services across data domains. Patrick has over two decades of experience in the financial data industry, leading product innovation and customer-focused projects. He began his career in 1997 and has worked with companies like Thomson Financial and Standard & Poor’s before joining Rimes in 2004. 

As Global Head of Content Management at Rimes, Patrick manages over 700 relationships with data providers and is responsible for bringing on 100 new providers each year. He has built Rimes’ content function from the ground up, setting the gold standard for data management and driving the development of new ESG solutions.   

Andre is a seasoned financial services executive with global experience in strategy development, product innovation, building capital markets trading and data technology solutions, developing global strategic partner commercial relationships, and extensive expertise in FinTech M&A.

Andre currently heads up the CanDeal Data & Analytics (DNA) business, which includes a data-as-a-service platform to pool Canadian dealers’ over the counter content. While formally establishing Dealer data IP rights, the goal is to facilitate an innovative ecosystem where data fuels risk systems, pricing models, enhances compliance capabilities and provides a highly secure and interoperable platform. Canada is now seen as a leader in this area, which is helping to enhance the strength and resiliency of Canadian capital markets offerings on the global stage. Andre holds an MBA from Schulich School of Business, a Bachelors Degree in Administrative and Commercial Studies from UWO, and Information Technology from Ryerson.
