Vijay is a proven Fintech leader with a track record of transforming and scaling global Fintech businesses. He is a recognized leader in harnessing next-generation technologies to solve complex data and workflow challenges for the world’s leading financial institutions.

Prior to Rimes, Vijay spent 12 years at Broadridge Financial Solutions, a period during which the company’s market capitalization grew from under $3 billion to over $30 billion. As a key member of the Executive Team and most recently as President of Capital Markets, he transformed a foundational post-trade solutions business into a $1.1 billion global leader in trading, data, and analytics. A passionate product innovator, Vijay has consistently pushed the boundaries of financial technology, creating market-leading platforms leveraging AI, smart contracts, tokenization, and other next-generation technologies.

Vijay’s broad experience includes private equity investing, hands-on technology roles building fixed income trading systems, strategic consulting for financial institutions at BCG and co-founding a venture-backed data company, leading it through a full lifecycle from inception to a strategic acquisition. He is also a named inventor on a number of patents in financial technology and market structure.

He holds an MSc in Machine Learning & Data Science from Imperial College, London, an MBA from The Wharton School, and a BA/MA in Physics from the University of Oxford.

Meriel joined Rimes in 2022 as General Counsel to establish and lead the global legal and compliance function. She oversees all aspects of Rimes’ legal and regulatory affairs worldwide. 

Prior to joining Rimes, Meriel was a partner at two global law firms based in London. In 2014, she transitioned into the industry, taking senior leadership roles in the utilities sector – where she led a £4bn debt financing program – and later in the retail fintech sector, driving legal strategy and governance during periods of rapid growth. 

Meriel is a non-executive director of EdCity, a not-for-profit partnership between a national education charity and municipal government to build and operate a $200m education hub and community facilities in west London.   

Meriel holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, Politics & Business from the University of Durham, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from Guildford Law School.

Justin joined Rimes in November 2021 as Chief Product Officer, leading the Product and Technology organizations at Rimes, responsible for product vision, strategy, development and commercialization. 

Previously, Justin was the Head of Corporate and Investment Bank Innovation at Barclays, responsible for strategy and execution to bring external FinTech innovations into the bank.  Prior to Barclays, Justin spent 23 years at Goldman Sachs working in Global Markets, most recently as Head of EMEA Equities Electronic Trading Engineering where he worked with clients and sales to deliver new products and improve execution quality for clients. 

Justin has been a prominent speaker at industry events, representing Rimes at FIMA US, the Pensions & Investments UK Pension Fund Tour, and numerous client roundtable discussions. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Electronics from the University of Edinburgh.  

Laura Davis joined Rimes in October 2021 as Chief Marketing Officer, leading Marketing, Product Marketing, Corporate Communications and Analyst Relations  

Laura has more than 20 years’ experience building go to market, brand and growth strategies for fintech, SaaS, regulatory compliance, private equity, and institutional firms. Prior to joining Rimes, she ran a global marketing consultancy following her role as Global Head of Marketing for IHS Markit, where she led marketing for the organization’s Financial Services businesses.  

Laura holds a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Business Administration from Simon Fraser University in Canada.  

Kieran joined Rimes in January 2026 as Chief Revenue Officer, responsible for the company’s global go-to-market strategy and commercial teams. He brings more than 30 years of leadership experience as well as deep domain expertise in financial data and applications, cloud technology, and analytics, serving institutional buy and sell-side customers.

A recognized leader in Fintech, Kieran most recently served as Global Vice President of Data Cloud Product Partnerships at Snowflake, leading strategic partnerships and marketplace initiatives during a period of transformational, AI-driven innovation. Prior to Snowflake, he spent more than three decades at FactSet Research Systems where he oversaw $1.4B in revenue, with leadership roles in Sales, Strategic Alliances, Client Success, Operations and Product Development across global markets.

Kieran began his career at Goldman Sachs & Company, executing FX trades across global currency markets, and holds a BA in Economics from Syracuse University.

Gus joined Rimes in September 2024 as Chief Operating Officer, responsible for global Operations, organizational transformation and client delivery excellence. Gus brings significant experience scaling fintech, financial data and financial services organizations globally, most recently at Barclays Group, where he led Vendor Transformation, Strategy, and Innovation during a period of significant growth. Prior to Barclays, Gus successfully led complex business operations at firms including Experian, Transcom and Sky.    

Gus served in the British Army and was educated at Edinburgh and Aberdeen Universities. He received the ‘Men for Gender Balance Rising Star’ Winner 2021 from WeAreTheCity and was a Finalist in the British ExForces Awards 2022.  

Donal Smith joined Rimes in 2020 as non-executive Board Chair. Donal is the Co-Founder and Executive Chairman of Credit Benchmark.  

 Prior to co-founding Credit Benchmark, he was CEO of Data Explorers and has previously held roles at Thomson Reuters, including CEO of Thomson Financial in Europe and Asia. He was CEO of FT.com and Director of Electronic Publishing for the Financial Times Group.    

 Previous non-executive roles include: Financial News; BISAM S.A.; Reach plc; and Selerity Inc.
