Meet the leaders transforming investment data management.
Brad joined Rimes in 2021, having spent over 30 years working at high profile organizations such as Bank of New York Mellon, IHS-Markit and Goldman Sachs.
Brad is a recognized leader of innovative growth businesses in wholesale capital markets, spanning electronic trading, data services, and financial technology. He has an active involvement in the financial technology and data segments and has also served as an advisor to several large private equity firms in London.
Brad is a graduate of the University of British Columbia with a BA in International Relations.
Justin joined Rimes in November 2021 and is responsible for driving future benchmark data product innovation, business transformation and Rimes’ ETF and ESG capabilities.
Previously, Justin was the Head of Corporate and Investment Bank Innovation at Barclays, responsible for Markets and Banking, and overseeing several critical innovation initiatives. Earlier in his career, Justin spent 23 years at Goldman Sachs leading the European Equities Electronic Trading engineering team, working with clients and sales to deliver new products and quality execution.
Justin holds a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Edinburgh.
Laura Davis joined Rimes in October 2021 as Chief Marketing Officer.
Laura has more than 20 years' experience building go to market, brand and growth strategies for fintech, SaaS, regulatory compliance, private equity, and institutional firms. Prior to joining Rimes, she ran a global marketing consultancy following her role as Global Head of Marketing for IHS Markit, where she led marketing for the organization’s Financial Services segment.
Laura holds a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Business Administration from Simon Fraser University in Canada.
Douglas is one of our long-serving Rimes employees, having joined in 2001 as Chief Data Officer.
He has a strong fixed income background and before joining Rimes, held the position of Global Head of USD Swaps at RBS Capital Markets and before that Global Head of Interest Rate Options at NatWest Markets. In both these roles he was responsible for driving the fixed income trading strategy, founded on his deep knowledge of these markets.
Douglas has a PhD in Chemical Physics, from Columbia University.
François joined Rimes in 2020 as Chief People Officer bringing more than 20 years of experience in Human Resources, focusing on the development of organizations and leaders to accelerate their performance and impact.
From 2016 he drove the People function at eFront with the business later acquired by BlackRock. Over his career, he has supported various companies including SAP as a HR Business Partner (in the Netherlands) and more recently at Adobe.
Francois is a graduate of both the Universite Jean Moulin and Sciences Po Lyon - Institut d'Etudes Politiques.
Renaud joined Rimes in 2009 as Head of Research and Development before being appointed as Chief Operating Officer in 2022. Renaud leads our R&D, Operations, Sales Engineering and Client Service functions and is responsible for the continued development and delivery of our best-in-class client solutions.
Earlier in his career with Rimes, Renaud founded and grew the Paris office as our main R&D center before taking on the role of Chief Technology Officer. He has also worked closely with our teams to introduce new processes and improve scalability, facilitating delivery of our exceptional client services. Previously, as Senior Project Manager, he introduced Agile at SAP Business Objects.
Renaud holds a master’s degree in Engineering from the École Nationale Supérieure des Mines de St-Étienne.
Scott joined Rimes in 2020 as Chief Revenue Office after an extensive career in financial markets technology. His previous roles include Chief Business Development Officer at T-Rex Group; CRO at FactSet and COO Enterprise Products & Solutions at Bloomberg, where he held various leadership roles over almost two decades.
Scott is a proven driver of performance, productivity and potential, leading global initiatives and organizations across business and product strategy, sales and marketing, client solutions and support.
Scott holds a BA in Political Science and Government from St. Francis Xavier University, Canada.
Stuart joined Rimes in December 2021 as Chief Financial Officer bringing significant financial leadership experience in both private and public companies. Most recently at Thomson Reuters and Finastra, his sector expertise includes financial services, data, and technology.
Stuart is an active member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS). He mentors CIMA students with their careers and is an advisor to start-up companies focused on sustainable enterprise.
Stuart is a BA (Hons) graduate of Kingston University and, most recently, specialized in Fintech at Imperial College London.
Stuart joined Rimes in October 2021 following its acquisition of Matrix.
Over the last 20 years of his career, Stuart has been involved as a founder, early employee, or investor in several significant fintech firms, most recently as co-CEO of Matrix.
Stuart’s entire career has been based within financial services, focused on solving complex data management projects. He has operated across Europe, North America and Asia, holding several leadership roles including; IHS Markit, Livingstone Technologies, Cadis Software and Charles River Development.
Stuart holds a B.Bus.Sci (Hons) in Finance & Accounting from the University of Cape Town.
Christian co-founded RIMES Technologies Corporation in 1996 in New York City, also holding the roles of CEO and President until June 2021.
Earlier in his career, Christian was Managing Director, Global Investment division at Bankers Trust between 1991 and 1995 as portfolio manager, Hedge Funds, focusing on alternative strategies. Prior to that he was a Vice President, Fixed Income Derivatives at Deutsche Bank – Morgan Grenfell.
Christian has a PhD in Finance from NYU Stern, gained in 1988.
Donal joined the Board of Rimes in April 2020 and is Executive Chair and co-founder of Credit Benchmark, Chair of PIRUM Ltd and a non-executive director of Web Financial Group.
Donal was CEO of Data Explorers (acquired by IHS Markit in 2012) and Chair of BISAM (acquired by FactSet in 2017). Earlier in his career, he held several roles at Thomson Reuters including CEO of Thomson Financial’s Europe and Asia businesses and was CEO of FT.com and Director of Electronic Publishing for the Financial Times Group.
Donal has a BA in History of Art & English Literature from University College Dublin
Anna joined the Board of Rimes in January 2021 and holds several other Board roles including Financeware LLC and NEX Group plc.
Anna was the CIO of Nasdaq, and has established multiple industry-leading business units at CIBC and Merrill Lynch. Anna supports women entrepreneurs as both a mentor and angel investor with Astia Angels. She also serves on the New York Hall of Science, Board of Trustees to support STEM education for K-12 students.
Anna holds a BA in Economics and an MBA in Management Information Systems from Schulich School of Business at York University in Toronto.
Robert, an EQT Advisor, joined the Board of Rimes in April 2020.
From June 2014 he was the CEO of SIX Financial Information where he drove a major and sustainable operational and business transformation, supported by innovation and new business development. Robert has more than 30 years of international management experience with proven expertise across the financial information business. He also held senior management positions at SunGard (now FIS) and Reuters (now Refinitiv) and is currently Board Chair of Infront ASA.
Robert holds a Master of Sciences degree in Electrical Engineering from the Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne (EPFL).
Robert, a Partner at EQT Partners, joined the Board of Rimes in March 2020.
Robert joined EQT Partners in London in 2018, and is responsible for investments across the technology sector, with a particular focus on enterprise software and fintech. Prior to joining EQT, Robert was a Principal at Francisco Partners and an Investment Manager at Englefield Capital, having started his career at Goldman Sachs as part of the Technology team. Over his career, Robert has also held several Non-executive Director roles.
Robert holds an MEng in Engineering Science from the University of Oxford.
Patrick, a Director at EQT Partners, joined the Board of Rimes in June 2022.
Patrick joined EQT Partners in London in February 2019 and focuses on software and fintech investments. Prior to joining EQT Partners, Patrick spent five years across roles in private equity at TA Associates in London and in investment banking at Jefferies in New York.
Patrick holds a BA in Economics & History from Vanderbilt University, where he was awarded the Cornelius Vanderbilt Scholarship and graduated with honors.
