Brad joined Rimes in 2021 to lead the company’s expansion into new product areas and markets. Since his joining, Rimes has steadily increased its client footprint through both acquisitive and organic growth. In addition, the company has significant extended its capabilities as an enterprise data management solutions provider and industry partner.
Having spent over 30 years working at high profile organizations such as Bank of New York Mellon, IHS Markit and Goldman Sachs, Brad is a recognized leader of innovative growth businesses in wholesale capital markets, spanning electronic trading, data services, and financial technology. He has an active involvement in the financial technology and data segments and has also served as an advisor to several large private equity firms in London.
Brad is a graduate of the University of British Columbia with a BA in International Relations.
Donal Smith joined Rimes in 2020 as non-executive Board Chair.
Donal is the Co-Founder and Executive Chairman of Credit Benchmark.
Prior to co-founding Credit Benchmark, he was CEO of Data Explorers and has previously held roles at Thomson Reuters, including CEO of Thomson Financial in Europe and Asia. He was CEO of FT.com and Director of Electronic Publishing for the Financial Times Group.
Previous non-executive roles include: Financial News; BISAM S.A.; Reach plc; and Selerity Inc.
Current non-executive roles are: NED Pirum; Chairman; DeHavilland/Forefront Group.
Erik joined Rimes in 2024 as President and Chief Revenue Officer, leading the company’s global client-facing organization, as well as the North America region.
Erik brings extensive market experience and leadership to Rimes. Most recently, he was Chief Commercial Officer at Inspira Financial (previously Millenium Trust Company), responsible for the go-to-market strategy for each of Inspira’s lines of business: consumer-directed benefits, custody services, retirement services, and M&A/corporate development.
Prior to joining Inspira, Erik was a managing director, member of the operating committee, and head of the investment management industry group at BNY Mellon, where he led the team responsible for business development and client engagement with BNY’s largest investment management clients.
Erik holds a BS in finance from San Diego State University and serves on the board of trustees of the New York Foundling.
Justin joined Rimes in November 2021 as Chief Product Officer, leading the Product organization at Rimes, responsible for the product vision, roadmap and go-to-market strategy for all products and services.
Previously, Justin was the Head of Corporate and Investment Bank Innovation at Barclays, responsible for strategy and execution to bring external FinTech innovations into the bank. Prior to Barclays, Justin spent 23 years at Goldman Sachs working in Global Markets, most recently as Head of EMEA Equities Electronic Trading Engineering where he worked with clients and sales to deliver new products and improve execution quality for clients.
Justin holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Electronics from the University of Edinburgh.
Laura Davis joined Rimes in October 2021 as Chief Marketing Officer.
Laura has more than 20 years' experience building go to market, brand and growth strategies for fintech, SaaS, regulatory compliance, private equity, and institutional firms. Prior to joining Rimes, she ran a global marketing consultancy following her role as Global Head of Marketing for IHS Markit, where she led marketing for the organization’s Financial Services segment.
Laura holds a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Business Administration from Simon Fraser University in Canada.
François joined Rimes in 2020 as Chief People Officer bringing more than 20 years of experience in Human Resources, focusing on the development of organizations and leaders to accelerate their performance and impact.
From 2016 he drove the People function at eFront with the business later acquired by BlackRock. Over his career, he has supported various companies including SAP as a HR Business Partner (in the Netherlands) and more recently at Adobe.
Francois is a graduate of both the Universite Jean Moulin and Sciences Po Lyon - Institut d'Etudes Politiques.
Renaud joined Rimes in 2009 as Head of Research and Development before being appointed as Chief Operating Officer in 2022. Renaud leads our R&D, Operations, Sales Engineering and Client Service functions and is responsible for the continued development and delivery of our best-in-class client solutions.
Earlier in his career with Rimes, Renaud founded and grew the Paris office as our main R&D center before taking on the role of Chief Technology Officer. He has also worked closely with our teams to introduce new processes and improve scalability, facilitating delivery of our exceptional client services. Previously, as Senior Project Manager, he introduced Agile at SAP Business Objects.
Renaud holds a master’s degree in Engineering from the École Nationale Supérieure des Mines de St-Étienne.
Stuart joined Rimes in December 2021 as Chief Financial Officer bringing significant financial leadership experience in both private and public companies. Most recently at Thomson Reuters and Finastra, his sector expertise includes financial services, data, and technology.
Stuart is an active member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS). He mentors CIMA students with their careers and is an advisor to start-up companies focused on sustainable enterprise.
Stuart is a BA (Hons) graduate of Kingston University and, most recently, specialized in Fintech at Imperial College London.
Stuart joined Rimes in October 2021 following the company’s acquisition of Matrix IDM, a company founded to provide institutional investors with modern, cloud-native applications to better manage their investment data. Stuart is responsible for managing the performance of the Investment Management Platform (Matrix) business globally.
For more than 20 years, Stuart has been involved as a founder, early employee, or investor in several significant fintech firms, most recently as co-CEO of Matrix. Stuart’s entire career has been based within financial services, focused on providing complex enterprise data management solutions. He has operated across Europe, North America and Asia, holding several leadership roles at companies including; IHS Markit, Livingstone Technologies, Cadis Software and Charles River Development.
Stuart holds a Bachelor of Business Science (Hons) in Finance & Accounting from the University of Cape Town.
