Sydney, London, New York, Monday 8th November 2021 – Matrix IDM, a RIMES company, is delighted to announce that they have been awarded Best buy-side IBOR (investment book of record) platform in the annual Waters Buy-Side Technology Awards.
Hosted by WatersTechnology, the aim of these awards is to recognize the leading technologies and third-party vendors in their area of expertise, through an auditable and transparent methodology underpinned by nine judges: five buy-side-focused technology consultants and four of WatersTechnology’s most experienced journalists.
Neil Lotter, CEO at Matrix commented. “The point of an IBOR is to empower business users to make more accurate investment decisions and deliver higher quality position data than existing mechanisms. ‘Higher quality’ means complete, accurate data, provided in a timelier fashion, and delivered in forms that satisfies the consuming users and applications.
Our unique data management capabilities are the foundation of everything we do. However, I believe the recent enhancements to the platform, particularly our ability to seamlessly handle huge spikes in data load or big data query are a significant leap forward in providing and even greater ability to manage all data related to investment decisions. To win this award two years running is a great achievement for the team.”
